Changes to site

As stated earlier, I wrote that changes were coming. Some of the changes have already appeared. To clarify some questions that I have received regarding the first set of changes: the background color of the site will be changing once a week, some technical aspects of this have yet to be achieved, but the basic design is in place. Please note like other all other aspects of the site I do not consider this part of my art or art work in and of itself, it is design. See below.

Each month I am adding to an on-going series of writings and works about Fine Artists who work(ed), or are primarily working in the NYC area. This month I produced a text work with links for NYC Fine Artist, Blake Rayne.

Painting 101,

Your presence/present: FREE unique, small and large digital drawing give-a-way

Next Friday, January 18th is my birthday. Like last year (and I believe years to come) I wish to give, and not receive anything on my day of birth. All who contact me electronically (e-mail, etc...) from now until that day, will either get a unique small digital drawing, or if you already have a small drawing you get to upgrade: I will send you a new unique large digital drawing. That's right, all who have received a small drawing will be given a new unique large drawing if you contact me on that day. If you have received drawings in the past feel free to ask for another (no limits). All I need from you is a physical mailing address to send the physical, paper officiating letter (letter of authenticity). As always, I will never sell, give, lend that information to any entity, person, etc...

Same rules apply as before with these digital drawings.

Email me here by next Friday, January 18th 2012 and please include your name and postal address.

Again, your presence is the greatest present I could ever receive.

Ghost Modernism - Retcon - update

As stated before, I was invited to be a part of a group show in the The Hague, Netherlands. The show, Ghost Modernism, will be opening Spring, 2013. Currently, I am working on a new installation for the show.

Below is some documentation for the installation, Retroactive Continuity (Retcon) 2012-13, which may be used in this show. As always these images are available in color.

 

I will be updating the progress and potential work to be shown in the show.
