Light/laser work is a body of work that I started exploring in 2006. At first there was a lot of experimentation (I did not show my first light work until 3 years later.)

Fitting into my experience, sensibilities, and concepts; the lights and lasers are powered by rechargeable batteries that have been charged by using solar panels.

The lights and lasers are filtered through a series of complex, and sometimes simple techniques to create a unique phenomenal experience.

The solar panels are each housed in a travel box, cube, and/or container that houses all of the components of each installation.

Mostly the works creates a mix of self contained lighting systems that do and do not rely on common energy sources.

There are many layers, levels, elements, concepts, percepts, etc... for each work that are not stated here or documented in the photographed work below.
