Many requests have come to me asking to see documentation of a new installation of mine, Our Common Future. It was exhibited recently at SET Gallery in Brooklyn.

Below are some images and a video link of the documented work.

Fine Artist of the Month: Linked Text on Perspective for Chris Hagerty

Each month I am adding to an on-going series of writings and works about Fine Artists who work(ed), or are primarily working in the NYC area. This month I produced Linked Text on Perspective for NYC Fine Artist, Chris Hagerty.

Information theory. Many-worlds_interpretation. Uncertainty_principle.

Vacation/holiday - surface view, safety stop

20' underwater, safety stop video, surface focus with tiny bubble focus mid-video
Link to the video on YouTube

This week I decided to take a slight break in posting and just link off to a video I took last week while I was in Mexico on vacation/holiday. This video is from my first dive, after gaining my Open Water Diver certification. The video consists of a minute from the mandatory two minute Safety Stop. I feel this video is somewhat emblematic of the influence that my experience, of being in the world, has on my Fine Artwork (studio and beyond).

Please take special note: I do not consider this video my Fine Artwork. There was no video manipulation done besides being trimmed/edited at the end of the video. Due to the nature of the video (color),  I am not posting it directly on my website.

Talk at SET Gallery

This coming Saturday, March 10th at 4pm, I will be giving a talk on my artwork, Our Common Future, in the BRURAL group show at SET Gallery, 287 3rd, Ave. in Brooklyn, between President Street and Carroll Street.

The duration of the talk should be around 15-30 minutes. Afterwards there will be a meet up right next door at Pizza Cotta Bene.

Hope to see, discuss and most importantly: experience with you there you there!
